Established in 1988, the Metal Products Department (MPD) of NIFAST has grown and developed into a world-class Tier 1 and Tier 2 fastener supplier to the automotive industry and raw material supplier to many of the world's leading fastener manufacturers. By utilizing the vast worldwide resources of its parent company, Nissho Iwai, as well as their own knowledge of the domestic fastener industry, NIFAST has developed a worldwide supplier base that is second to none.

A computerized inventory control system ensures the accuracy and traceability of all on-hand stock and provides immediate access to every item in inventory. The system is also capable of supporting a wide range of customer needs with the following value-added services:
